A concept design for the website of Rammstein’s European tour

About the project

Rammstein is more than just music. It is fire, energy, and a show that blows the roof off. As a fan, I wanted to convey this through the website: not merely create a convenient tour page, but to capture the atmosphere — with riffs, flames, and stadium power.

This project became special to me. It was featured in Tilda Publishing’s selection of top works — and that is a personal source of pride.

The tasks the website would address if the project were real

{01}

Immersion in the tour atmosphere

Convey the spirit of the Rammstein show, heighten emotions, and engage fans even before the concert.

{02}

Ticket sales

Make the process of selecting and purchasing tickets simple and convenient — without unnecessary steps or obstacles.

{03}

Strengthening the band’s image in the digital space

Design the website in the band’s signature style to support brand recognition and charisma.

It was important to me that the website did not look like an ordinary promotional resource. It should captivate visitors and sell the show even before tickets are purchased

Therefore, I used

Emotive typography

Bold, angular fonts create a sense of intensity, as if the sound is coming not only from the speakers but directly from the screen.

High-contrast, “metallic” design

A dark colour palette with flashes of red creates the atmosphere of a stage and concert lighting.

Dynamic interface

Videos, animations, and effects bring the site to life — much like a Rammstein performance itself.

Rammstein is more than just a concert; it is a show where every detail is meticulously crafted to amaze the audience

To convey the scale of the show, I added key facts about the tour and a list of past concerts organised by this technical team. This helps viewers see the professionals behind the group’s performances.

To highlight the effort behind each show, I included a time-lapse video showing the stage being built from scratch and hundreds of specialists preparing the venue for the first chord.

To demonstrate how highly professionals regard the show, I included reviews from well-known music magazines.

Some call the concert brilliant, others controversial. This gives viewers a balanced perspective and fuels their interest.

How I simplified ticket selection and purchase based on user habits

Rammstein fans first check whether there is a concert in their city—and if not, they are willing to travel to a nearby one. Next, they look at the date. Therefore, in the schedule, I listed the city first, then the date: these are the two key factors when choosing.

The table is straightforward: city, date, price, and a purchase button. This order helps users quickly compare options and make a decision.

Rammstein’s aesthetics in the digital realm

The band is not just music but a cultural phenomenon with a bold style and powerful visual presentation. It was important for me to preserve this language so that the website not only informs but also strengthens and emphasises the brand.

Typography in the spirit of Neue Deutsche Härte
Bold, rugged fonts convey an industrial character and echo the band’s logo and merchandise.
Dark, high-contrast palette
A minimal colour scheme with sharp accents — white, steel, and red. The visual atmosphere is intense, evoking aggression and drama.
Graphics referencing the show
Metallic textures, sharp lines, and rugged elements — all evoke the concert’s energy.
