A website for selling a course and a platform for online learning

About the project

Svetlana Koleda is an interior and homeware designer. She compiled a guide to the 3daysofdesign exhibition to share her expertise and inspire those who love Scandinavian style.

I helped her package this knowledge into a product by creating a landing page to sell the guide and a platform where access to the materials is granted automatically after purchase.

Objectives to be achieved through the website

{01}

Sell the guide to a wide audience

{02}

Design a personalised dashboard for clients

{03}

Set up online payment and automatic access to the guide

{04}

Present the materials in the style of Scandinavian minimalism

After interviewing the client, I identified three key audiences and took into account the concerns of each

Audiences and their benefits

Beginner designers

The guide will help them broaden their horizons, get acquainted with global brands and current trends, enabling them to apply this knowledge directly in their work.

Practising designers

They will gain up-to-date information on current industry trends, as if they had attended 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen in person.

Fans of Scandinavian aesthetics

The guide will help them gain a deeper understanding of the Scandinavian way of life, explore brands and global design trends, and apply this new knowledge to organise their own spaces.

On the landing page, I presented the guide in a way that makes it desirable to purchase

Since most people absorb information visually, I included a gallery of photos and videos of the author — captured directly at the exhibition he describes. This helps convey the atmosphere and engages visitors more deeply

To enhance interest, I included the brands that the author examines in detail through examples of Scandinavian design.

For those unfamiliar with the author, I introduced her through her experience, projects, and publications in specialised magazines.
This helps build trust and demonstrates that she is an expert whose opinion deserves attention.

To strengthen trust in the exhibition and the guide, I added testimonials and previews of 3daysofdesign from reputable design publications to the website.

This demonstrates that the exhibition is a significant event and that the guide is based on valuable expertise.

In the final call to action, I appealed to common sense. I compared the price of the guide with the costs of travelling to the exhibition — the difference is significant. This helps users make a rational decision.
To enhance convenience, I set up price display in the user’s currency: euros, dollars, roubles, or zlotys, depending on their geolocation.

For the author, style matters in every aspect — in life, in work, and in the details of the website, including the student dashboard

I designed the personal dashboard in a minimalist Scandinavian style. No unnecessary details — only what is essential. The clean space puts the focus firmly on the content.

Adding online payment and automatic access to the guide after purchase

How it works

Payment service integration

I selected and configured an online payment system that ensures security and convenience for buyers

Order processing

After payment, the system automatically records the purchase without any involvement from the course author.

Granting access

Immediately after payment, the buyer receives an email containing all the login details: a link to their dashboard, username, and password. This allows them to start using the guide without delay or unnecessary steps.

No more routine

The process is fully automated. There is no need to manually verify payments, send emails, or grant access — everything happens without the website owner’s involvement.

The guide materials are styled consistently with the website

The design emphasises the author’s professionalism and creates a recognisable identity. The minimalist Scandinavian approach makes the guide easy to use and helps it stand out among other resources.

Clients receive a product that is not only useful but also aesthetically pleasing.

A consistent style combined with carefully considered design helps establish strong trust in the author.
This reassurance encourages clients who engage with the guide to be more receptive to new courses and offers.

I reached out to Alexey to create a website for selling my guide based on the 3daysofdesign exhibition. The site turned out just as I imagined — stylish, clear, and easy to use. What I especially appreciated was how the online payment and automatic access delivery were set up. Everything works smoothly without unnecessary hassle, which really made client interactions easier.
